Single creative writing classes can be great for a lot of reasons: Here are five options to consider: Fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and screenwriting classes are offered — as well as weekend intensives and shorter workshops. Many classes are open to all; some of the intermediate or advanced classes require you to submit sample writing to be considered for admission.

The Los Angeles Writing Project has four major goals. The first, to improve student writing and learning in PreK classrooms in our urban region. The second is to extend the uses of writing in other disciplines aside from English/Language Arts including mathematics, science, the social sciences, and the arts.
