This has been repeatedly shown through studies, particular from the health sector. Ending VAWG, however, requires a multi-sector, coordinated response, which in itself requires a greater understanding about the challenges and lessons surrounding male engagement in ending VAWG outside of health contexts.

To this end, USAID have produced this review of evidence from interventions and strategies aimed at engaging men and boys, across a number of sectors.
